IDF Division 91 forces are continuing intensive operations to locate and destroy Hezbollah combat equipment in southern Lebanon. During extensive sweeps of the security zone, troops uncovered dozens of weapons intended to attack Israeli forces.
In recent days, soldiers from the 401st, Givati, and 300th Brigades pushed deep into the area and discovered significant combat equipment. Among the weapons seized were AK-47 rifles, RPG rockets, explosives, grenades, ammunition magazines, and additional combat gear.

2+Alongside uncovering infrastructure and weapons, troops in the field are dealing with immediate threats. Soldiers from the Shahaf reconnaissance unit (869) spotted a suspect near Ras Bayada who approached IDF forces in a threatening manner.
2+To keep the suspect at a distance and ensure the safety of the troops, forces from the 55th Brigade fired warning shots. When the suspect continued approaching and did not respond to the troops’ calls, soldiers fired at him to eliminate the threat.
