The potential targets are located in Gulf states and Arab countries that Iran believes significantly impact the European economy and the continent’s energy security.
Specific targets under review include: oil and gas pipelines supplying energy to Europe, oil and gas fields connected to European energy supply, liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities with European connections, and green hydrogen production projects in Oman backed by European financing and investment.
