Following a security situational assessment and against the background of protestors’ intentions to illegally enter the Gaza Strip area during a march planned for tomorrow, it was decided to impose a closed military zone order in the Western Negev region.
The order, signed by the Commander of the Southern Command, Major General Yaniv Asor, will take effect this morning and will restrict movement in extensive areas near the border, while providing an exemption for residents and workers of the area.
