Trump Media is launching a premium service giving traders ultra-fast access to the president's Truth Social posts for up to $100,000 monthly—a move critics call an unethical attempt to profit from the presidency.

Wall Street traders may soon pay huge sums to know what Donald Trump is about to post before everyone else. Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), which owns the social network Truth Social, has launched a new service called Truth API designed to give banks, hedge funds, and trading firms ultra-fast access to the president’s posts—for a monthly fee that could reach $100,000.

According to a Reuters report, the company has held talks with major financial institutions in recent weeks, offering subscriptions priced at up to $100,000 per month. A discounted three-year commitment package was also offered at $60,000 monthly. The new service will provide immediate access to posts from the ten most influential Truth Social accounts, including Trump himself, his sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, and other prominent figures associated with him. It will also include a complete archive of posts dating back to 2022.

The move addresses a real need in capital markets. In recent years, Trump’s posts have repeatedly proven capable of moving markets within seconds. One prominent example came in April 2025, when Trump announced on Truth Social a 90-day freeze on some of the new tariffs he had imposed—a statement that triggered sharp rallies in major Wall Street indexes.

At high-frequency trading firms, even a millisecond advantage can be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars on individual trades. Faster access to Trump’s posts could therefore become an economically significant tool for large investment firms.

But the move is already sparking political uproar in the United States. Democratic Senator Ron Wyden argued the service “will enrich Wall Street traders and the Trump family,” while Senator Elizabeth Warren called it “a blatant attempt to profit from the presidency.”

Ethics experts have also raised concerns. Donald Sherman, president of the watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, said the move is “extremely unethical” because the president could derive direct financial benefit from payment for faster access to his statements. However, he added, it’s unclear whether there’s a legal basis to block the move.

Despite the criticism, TMTG announced it has already signed up clients ahead of the service’s August 1 launch, though it declined to reveal their identities. For the company, which is searching for new revenue streams amid fierce competition in the social media market, this is a strategic move that could turn the president’s posts into one of the most expensive information products in capital markets.
