While Israelis prepare to vote in Knesset elections on October 27, 2026, enemies from outside have already launched an attack. Not with missiles or terror this time, but with the new weapons of the 21st century: crude, venomous propaganda aimed at toppling right-wing rule in Israel with one single goal—to remove Benjamin Netanyahu from power through the Israeli ballot box. This article reviews propaganda from Egypt, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia that began just in the last 24 hours.

Yesterday, right after the election date was announced, it became clear that Arab media doesn’t intend to stay on the sidelines. In strange timing, it launched a coordinated, open campaign that presented Israel’s prime minister as the last obstacle to peace, normalization, and “stability” in the region. This is no longer coverage. This is a direct and blatant attempt to interfere in the democratic elections of a sovereign state.
Egypt Mobilizes for the Left and Against Netanyahu
Egyptian broadcaster Nashat al-Dihi on his daily program yesterday sent a message to the people of Israel and told them: “Wake up from your sleep if you want peace, prosperity, and security stability—I demand that you not vote for Netanyahu.” More than that, he demanded several times without mincing words to topple Netanyahu’s government. In addition, with utter audacity, he defined ousting the prime minister as a “national duty.” Later, the broadcaster descended to a low level and called Israel’s prime minister a murderer and criminal. At the end of his broadcast, the broadcaster threatened that if the people of Israel still want Netanyahu, then forget about peace with Egypt. Al Jazeera also stormed into the battle and published an article headlined “After Setting the Election Date, Who Are the Prominent Candidates Against Netanyahu?” The article doesn’t settle for reporting. It defines the election as a referendum on Netanyahu’s policies since October 7, 2023—policies that according to them caused deep divisions in Israel. The Al Jazeera network somehow determined that most Israelis prefer that Netanyahu not remain in power.
The message is clear and dangerous: Netanyahu is weak, unreliable, and Israelis themselves already want him out of the Prime Minister’s Office. This isn’t journalism—this is propaganda aimed at sowing despair and trying to influence the Israeli voter.

Al Arabiya Joins the Campaign: “Netanyahu in Crisis—His Calculations Are Getting Confused”
Al Arabiya didn’t stay behind either. On July 12, it published an article describing Netanyahu as facing the toughest test since his return to power. The article emphasizes what it calls “the crisis in Likud,” Netanyahu’s threat to run with an independent list, and his declining popularity in polls. The tone is not neutral and far from reality. Between the lines, the Saudis are broadcasting: Netanyahu is losing control, and the Israeli political system is already “getting confused” because of him.
This campaign is neither accidental nor innocent—it’s designed to help the left in Israel. It combines well-funded Arab media, secret diplomatic messages, and perfect timing right after the election date was set. The goal is clear: to create internal pressure in Israel, to present Netanyahu as an “obstacle to peace,” and to encourage Israeli voters to choose an alternative, even if it weakens the State of Israel militarily and politically.

They don’t need to invade. They just need Israelis themselves to topple Netanyahu, and that’s exactly what they’re trying to do now, through screens and headlines. And if Netanyahu isn’t elected, the path to a Palestinian state is short. The Arabs know very well what the Israeli left’s position is, what Lapid himself said at the UN—that he supports a Palestinian state. The positions of Bennett and Eisenkot are also known among the Arab world—almost every day they quote them to attack the right and the prime minister.
The central question is whether Israelis understand that this is no longer just an election. This is a war over our very existence and not just over Israeli democracy—and this time the enemy is using venomous propaganda against us instead of terror and missiles or tanks. Therefore, the insights must be identical and the message unified. On election day, we will all go to the polls and vote for the right and for Prime Minister Netanyahu.
