In a farewell interview with Senator Lindsey Graham on Fox News, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised his longtime friend and said he would miss him for his commitment to both Israel and the United States. Later in the interview, Netanyahu confirmed that Israel passed intelligence to the Americans about Iranian plans to assassinate Trump.
Netanyahu spoke about his special relationship with Graham during the interview: “I will miss Senator Graham terribly. He would say, ‘If you care about America’s independence and strength—you need a strong Israel. America has no stronger ally than Israel.’ I’ll miss Graham because he had clear vision about advancing the principles that make America great.”
1+Later in the interview, the prime minister addressed one of the most pressing issues on the agenda—the Iranian threat to assassinate Trump and Israel’s transfer of intelligence to American officials about specific Iranian plans to do so.
In his remarks, Netanyahu confirmed the accuracy of the report: “We share amazing intelligence details with the U.S. in order to save the lives of many Americans.” With this, the prime minister’s confirmation joined that of Ambassador Huckabee, who acknowledged the accuracy of the report last night in a Fox News interview.

“It’s important that Americans understand that what the Iranians say and do is no different from what they’ve said and done for 47 years. This is a longstanding position and they haven’t changed—I hope they will change, I want to believe they can. If there’s anyone who can get them to change their evil positions—it’s Trump,” the ambassador said later in the interview.
