Israeli forces continue operating in southern Lebanon and have uncovered and destroyed multiple Hezbollah weapons depots in recent days. Among the finds: explosives, weapons, launchers, machine guns, and rockets.
Israeli forces destroyed the depots and all the weapons found inside, which were intended to target Israeli soldiers and civilians. The IDF said in a statement: “We will continue to act to remove any threat to our forces and will not allow the terrorist organization Hezbollah to harm Israeli civilians.”
As part of operations in the area, two days ago forces destroyed two massive tunnels in the terror village of Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon. The tunnels’ combined length was roughly 200 meters, their depth about 20 meters, and inside them forces found living quarters, three launch shafts aimed at Israeli territory, and dozens of weapons. Additionally, during sweeps in the area, forces discovered a weapons cache including mortars, launchers, and rockets.
