The outgoing head of planning in the IDF Operations Directorate says Israeli forces are ready to strike Iran with massive force if needed, and warns the regime will not abandon its nuclear program and will collapse.

The outgoing head of the Planning Department in the IDF Operations Directorate, Colonel A., gave an exclusive interview to Channel 14’s Hillel Biton Rozen that will air tomorrow (Thursday). During the interview, the senior operations official addressed the Iranian threat at length, making clear that Israeli forces are prepared and ready for any scenario with Tehran. According to him, the campaign against the Islamic Republic is far from over, and Israeli forces are preparing additional surprises for the ayatollah regime should they be needed.

When Colonel A. was asked whether Israeli forces are ready to strike Iran with force, he answered confidently: “Yes, absolutely.” He added and confirmed that there are additional surprises that Israeli forces are preparing for the scenario in which they’ll need to deploy them against the enemy. The senior official emphasized that the operational readiness of Israeli forces is at its peak, and that operational plans are updated and adapted to recent developments in the region, while maintaining Israel’s full freedom of action.

According to Colonel A., the struggle with Iran will end in one of two clear alternatives. The first alternative is that the regime in Tehran will cooperate and completely abandon its nuclear program. The second alternative, and the more likely one in his view, is that the regime will not give up its nuclear ambitions—something that will ultimately lead to its complete collapse. The full exclusive interview, presenting the complex security picture, will air tomorrow (Thursday) on Channel 14’s news programs.
