Despite ongoing negotiations, Iran’s terror regime appears determined to continue the fight—shifting it from the military arena to the international legal sphere. Iran International, an Iranian news network, reported Sunday that Mojtaba Khamenei, Iran’s leader who hasn’t been seen publicly since Operation Roaring Lion began and his father Ali Khamenei was killed, is calling for “legal action against the U.S. and Israel,” claiming a need to “punish the crimes.”
According to the report, the call came in a message delivered for Iranian Justice Week, in which Khamenei accused the United States and Israel of committing “crimes” such as “violating the rights of the Iranian nation,” “killing individuals,” “causing damage to Iran,” “attacks on medical centers and services,” “murdering infants,” and “war crimes.” He called for legal pursuit of these cases in domestic and international courts.

As a reminder, during the freedom protests by the Iranian people held in the months before Operation Roaring Lion and Epic Fury, Iran’s ayatollah regime massacred approximately 42,000 protesters according to reports by various human rights organizations—yet no international organization acted to stop the horrific slaughter of women, children, and young men fighting for their freedom.

According to testimonies, the medical facility was placed under tight surveillance by security officials who prevented medical treatment, concealed bodies, and erased official records of hospitalized patients to hide the scale of the killing.
