In another incident on the Ali al-Taher ridge in the security zone, IDF forces spotted four Hezbollah terrorists riding a bulldozer and a motorcycle who crossed into the security zone and approached troops in a manner that posed an immediate threat.
Immediately after identifying them, forces fired warning shots. After the operatives continued to approach and did not respond to the forces’ calls, additional fire was directed to remove the threat. A hit was identified.
Hezbollah operates under civilian cover to conceal its terrorist activity. This incident is another example of the organization’s cynical use of Lebanese civilians and civilian infrastructure as a shield for its operations.
The IDF says it will not allow Hezbollah to harm Israeli civilians and IDF forces and will continue to act to remove immediate threats.
