Israeli forces struck an armed terrorist cell in southern Lebanon to “remove an immediate threat,” prompting Hezbollah to issue a warning in response.
“This is a blatant violation of the ceasefire we have adhered to until now,” the terrorist group said.
Hezbollah also claimed that “the enemy army opened machine gun fire at a group of civilians working to clear roads and recover bodies from the rubble—the attack killed two civilians, one of them a municipal worker.”
