In a report to Reuters, Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah clarified today (Friday) that Iran had conveyed a message to the organization regarding the continuation of diplomatic talks.
According to him, Iran informed Hezbollah that there is no point in continuing talks with the United States as long as a comprehensive ceasefire is not implemented that takes into account all fronts in the Middle East.
Separately, following the end of the American blockade as part of the memorandum of understanding, Iran’s Strait of Hormuz Authority issued an official statement establishing its control over the area. According to them, under the new procedures, any vessel wishing to transit the strait will be required to submit a formal request at least 48 hours in advance; requests submitted through unofficial channels will not be accepted. The authority also clarified that vessels will not be charged any fee for the passage for the next 60 days.
