President Donald Trump unleashed an unusually sharp attack on critics questioning his Iran strategy, calling them "jealous, bad people, or fools' as he touted record stock market highs and falling oil prices.

U.S. President Donald Trump launched a fierce attack on his Truth Social account today (Thursday) against his critics, who claim he did not take a harsh enough stance against Iran, harshly blasting them as “these fools.”

Following the criticism voiced against the details of the agreement, primarily among elements within the Republican Party, Trump rejected the claims and argued that his policy is already yielding results for the United States, including in the financial markets and energy prices.

“These fools who think I wasn’t tough enough on Iran—while the stock market just hit an all-time high and oil prices are plummeting—they’re either jealous, bad people, or fools,” Trump said.

He closed with his signature rallying cry: “Making America Great Again!!!”

The attack by Trump comes just days after a senior official in his administration admitted that the agreement with Iran is “less stringent” than the nuclear deal signed during President Barack Obama’s term, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal earlier this week.
