Channel 14 Chief Washington Correspondent Libby Alon spoke tonight (Monday) on the “Sheva” program hosted by Jacob Bardugo and Yehuda Schlesinger about an amusing and embarrassing incident she experienced with the President of the United States, Donald Trump. Alon, who was in the shower, missed an important phone call from the president, which led to a moment of panic and embarrassment.
Alon described the incident: “Wow, I have to say it was just embarrassing. I don’t think I’ll ever take a shower again.” She explained that after a long day at work, she got in the shower, and when she came out, she discovered on her phone screen a missed call from President Trump.
Despite the initial panic, Alon hurried back to the president. “I immediately ran to get back to him. He doesn’t always answer, we spoke earlier yesterday, we ended up talking,” she said. Following the incident, she decided to take her phone with her everywhere, adding humorously: “I had a feeling that if he ever called me, it would be when I was in the shower.”
