Dozens of suspected illegal drug cultivation sites were uncovered and destroyed yesterday in the Negev region as part of a large-scale police enforcement operation. During the operation, forces raided 45 pre-identified sites, working to expose them, destroy the crops, and collect evidence from the field.

The operation involved police forces assisted by off-road vehicles, drones, a police dog unit, and a helicopter. During the operation, police destroyed 21,560 plants suspected to be marijuana. In addition, officers seized approximately 80 kilograms of dried marijuana ready for distribution, along with three slabs of hashish.
