Two Arab suspects were arrested following a Molotov cocktail attack on Israeli security forces, thrown from a mosque in Husan. Police said they will be held pending legal proceedings as part of counterterrorism activity.

Two Arabs from the village of Husan near Bethlehem were arrested on Monday on suspicion of throwing a Molotov cocktail at security forces from a mosque two days earlier. No injuries were reported in the incident. The suspects were taken to a police station for further questioning.

Joint intelligence work led to the identification of the suspects, ages 20 and 25. Police said they intend to keep both men in custody through the full legal process. Authorities emphasized this was a cynical exploitation of holy sites, and that “any attempt to harm the lives of civilians and security personnel will be met with an offensive response using all capabilities and resources.”

This isn’t an isolated incident—it’s part of ongoing Arab terror and repeated attempts to carry out attacks across the country. Just yesterday (Sunday), one person was killed, and five others were seriously and moderately wounded in a wide-ranging shooting spree that hit four locations in the Sharon region.

The terrorist, Omar Mandar Yassin from the city of Taibe, opened fire from a vehicle with yellow Israeli license plates at civilians in Kochav Yair, Tzur Yitzhak, Tzur Natan, and the community of Sal’it. After an operational chase in the quarry area of Taibe, officers engaged and killed the terrorist.
