We saw the poisonous channels yesterday talking about how Israel wouldn’t strike Iran, and once again we’re seeing, as in the past, that Israel does what’s right for Israel—and this happens despite everything Barak Ravid and his imaginary, agenda-driven friends said. The psychological attack that took place last night, through the poisonous channels and through anti-Israel agenda-driven sources, tries to create fear and anxiety here. We’ve seen this from the screaming conversations until now, with a whole series of fakes one after another.
Regarding the messages from the U.S., it’s important to remember that American President Donald Trump is a great friend of Israel. Netanyahu spoke with him and made clear the boundaries of logic regarding missile attacks in Lebanon and Iran. Israel is sovereign and can carry out the necessary operations. The last two days made clear that what happened before October 7 won’t happen anymore. There’s no more policy of “containment and deterioration”—Israel stands its ground, and even if there’s an agreement between the U.S. and Iran, it won’t necessarily bind Israel if it contains parts that endanger Israel. We will act to remove any existential threat against us. What happened before October 7 won’t happen anymore.
On the Lebanon front, we need to understand that the Iranian attempt to connect the fronts has failed. The murderous terror organization Hezbollah won’t return to being a military player threatening Israel from the northern border, and every infrastructure serving it, from bridges to strategic systems, will be destroyed without hesitation. What we’ve seen so far, including the collapse of buildings in Dahieh and the pursuit of the organization’s leadership in Tyre, Sidon, and Nabatieh, is just the “promo” for the full movie of Hezbollah’s elimination. The Air Force won’t stop, and for every attack there will be another escalation, with no intention of returning to the days of false calm.
At the end of the day, the strategic goal vis-à-vis Tehran is clear: helping the Iranian people topple the ayatollah regime. While mediators like Qatar and Pakistan push for a bad deal that would leave Iran with uranium and ballistic capabilities, Israel won’t allow the panicked regime to create a victory image for itself. We will continue to act directly and with growing force, because this morning it was made clear to the entire world, and especially to our enemies, that Israel is a sovereign state acting according to its own security logic, and not according to the agenda-driven briefings of interested parties.
