The IDF Spokesperson’s statement read: “Defense systems are currently operating to intercept the threat. In recent minutes, the Home Front Command distributed a preliminary alert directly to mobile phones in the relevant areas. The public is requested to show responsibility and act according to the instructions—they save lives. Enter protected areas immediately upon receiving the alert and remain there until further notice.”
Magen David Adom (MDA) stated following the fire toward the State of Israel: “At this stage, there are no known casualties. MDA medics and paramedics have gone out to scan a scene from which a report was received.” Scans are being conducted in Kiryat Ata due to concerns over falling interception debris, while residents in the central region reported hearing powerful echoes of explosions.
