Following an Israeli strike in Lebanon, Iranian officials are threatening retaliation.
“We will respond to the Zionist regime’s attack in Dahieh with a decisive and painful response,” Iran warned. “This mad dog must be disciplined and put in its place. Tonight, watch the skies over the occupied territories.”
Dahieh refers to Beirut’s southern suburbs, a Hezbollah stronghold that has been targeted in previous Israeli operations.
