Dozens of Arabs threw rocks at police and Border Police officers who were called to a violent incident in Silwan, an East Jerusalem neighborhood. In response, officers used crowd dispersal measures and fired shots in the air.
Six suspects were arrested and taken for questioning at the Shalem police station. Three officers were lightly injured.
Police said they have gained control of the situation.
