Admiral Brad Cooper, commander of CENTCOM, stated today (Thursday) that according to the information in their hands, Iran’s capabilities were significantly reduced during Operation Roaring Lion: “It cannot launch large-scale missile barrages against its neighbors.”
In addition, Cooper claims that today, Tehran’s main and largest proxies, the murderous terrorist organizations Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, are cut off from Iran’s arms supply and support: “These results are the culmination of months of meticulous planning, built on decades of experience.”
As a reminder, yesterday, The New York Times reported that, according to classified intelligence assessments that have been released since the beginning of the month, it can be seen that Iran has regained access to most of its missile sites, launchers, and underground facilities, which is somewhat in contradiction to Cooper’s statements.
According to the report, US intelligence estimates that Iran has resumed operational access to 30 of the 33 missile sites it maintains along the Strait of Hormuz, and about 90% of Iran’s underground missile sites are “partially or fully operational.”
Even before the disturbing report, President Trump posted on Truth Social: “When the Fake News says that the Iranian enemy is doing well, Militarily, against us, it’s virtual TREASON in that it is such a false, and even preposterous, statement. They are aiding and abetting the enemy! All it does is give Iran false hope when none should exist.”
