Israeli forces killed an armed Hamas cell operating in northern Gaza on Tuesday, near IDF troops deployed along the Yellow Line. The militants were identified as posing a threat to forces in the area.
In a separate incident on Monday, soldiers from the 14th “Mahatz” Brigade identified five militants approaching the Yellow Line and operating near Israeli forces in what was defined as an immediate threat. Following the identification, the Air Force struck the militants with ground forces directing the attack.
According to the IDF, both strikes were carried out precisely to remove the threat, with most of the militants killed and additional hits identified. The military said that before carrying out the strikes, steps were taken to minimize harm to civilians, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.
