IDF naval forces boarded boats attempting to break Israel’s naval blockade of Gaza. The flotilla organizers issued a distress call, saying passengers were ordered to their knees at gunpoint. Earlier, Defense Minister Israel Katz imposed sanctions on a fundraising campaign financing the flotilla called the “Global Sumud Flotilla – the Second Mission”, which Israel says is organized by Hamas alongside other international organizations under the guise of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Recently, fake activists and leaders in the organization were arrested and detained in Tunisia and elsewhere around the world on suspicion of running a money laundering and corruption network.
