Two IDF soldiers were wounded when two terrorists attacked during an overnight operation on Wednesday in the village of Silwad in the Binyamin region of Judea and Samaria. The terrorists were using knives in the attack. The soldiers were taken to a hospital for treatment, and their families have been notified.
Troops returned fire, killing one terrorist. A second terrorist was neutralized and arrested by Israeli forces. One soldier was lightly wounded and the other moderately wounded.
Following the attack, security forces arrested the father of one of the terrorists and his brother for an alleged connection to a previous terrorist attack.
